With this switch on, straight train tracks can be built over tunnel entrances createing so called "tunnel bridges" (90° angle from the tunnel entrance).

PBS can't reserve properly a tunnel bridge, this means you need atleast one rail pice between PBS signals and a tunnel bridge.
Massive graphical glitches that are not expected to be fixed until the new graphical subsystem is implemented sometime after the next stable release.
Currently the sign cheat "tracks" will not convert tunnelbridges and is not safe to use!
