PBIMTTD

PBIMTTD is Play By Instant Message Transport Tycoon Deluxe.

It's a game I (Metalcore424) invented a while back to substitute for the somewhat lacking Multiplayer. There's about 3 different versions:

Metalcore424's version

2 players get similar configs and setups of their TTD and then they both start a new game, it being a scenario or a random game that one players sends to the other. Player A then builds something, and sends screens to the Player B(s). Player B then duplicates Player A's line, and they switch building privileges.

2+ players.

Raichase's version

Similar to the above, but with only screenshots of the source and destination, instead of of the whole line.

2+ players

ultros's version

At the beginning of the game, choose goals that you want to obtain, such as: The city your HQ is in must have over 5000 inhabitants and excellent ratings.

You must connect Topcorner City and Bottom Cornerville by train and have at least excellent station ratings. etc.

First one to fulfill all the goals wins. This one plays the most like normal TTD, but just with some added stuff. 2+ players.

The phrase "pbimttd?" was once a running joke on the IRC channel. These days, it's not even much of a walking joke, but now and then Lilman424 will join again and we'll reminisce...
