High-speed Mail Carriages
About
After reading a post on the TT forums about how there's a 'TGV Poste' service (the fastest land mail carrier in the world), I noticed that Loco's TGV and Electra-Star trains lack this ability. Also, the token mail capacity of the APT's Driving Carriages is grossly insufficient. The trains are also configured to use the improved (x2) reliability mod. They've the same stats as their passenger carriage counterparts, except where as noted below:
APT Mail Carriage
Weight: 25 tons
Capacity: 40 bags of mail
TGV Mail Carriage
Weight: 32 tons
Capacity: 45 bags of mail
Electra-Star Mail Carriage
Weight: 40 tons
Capacity: 45 bags of mail
Installation
Simply place the .DAT files in your \ObjData directory. Backup existing files if desired.
Use
To be able to buy the mail carriages, you must first enable them in the scenario editor.
